both teams have had ridiculously good penalty killing. only two PP goals scored by the sharks & two by the avs, so it’s not like special teams are making or breaking this series for anyone. save for the 30-some-odd second one the sharks got last night (due to rantanen taking the tripping call during the avs’ second straight - and last - PP of the night 30 seconds into it), the team was super disciplined, which is a great thing.

as for your “feeling” of mackinnon, i dunno if that was meant to be a troll comment or if you’re completely oblivious/blind, lol. this is HIS team, first and foremost. the passion he exudes night in & night out, every interview with him he talks about his excitement for how far this team has come since he was drafted and how excited he is for the future. mack is an avalanche for life!

I’m not saying he doesn’t want to play for Colorado or anything but it just seems at times he lets his emotions get the best of him and he gets frustrated and off his game. I get the whole passion thing but pay attention to his body language. I just think Bernard needs to sit him down at times and calm him down and get him mentally prepared to handle the struggles that come with being an elite superstar in the league

Mack can handle being a superstar! His emotion and passion is part of what makes him so great, frustration is normal and seeing him frustrated at times shows me even more how much he wants it and how much he wants to win

Reports out of Russia that Sven Andrighetto had signed a contract with a KHL team, but Andrighetto denies the rumors. Where there's smoke, there's fire.
